Help out!

Time flies — suddenly we’ve done a year of events! We have some thrilling guests planned for the rest of the year, and we’re already looking ahead to 2020.
Here’s the thing: we can use your help. So here’s a few ideas… If you think any of these sound like you, drop us a line!

Ways to get involved

  • Brain Trust: Suggest an author or a guest host. (We particularly love: local-ish authors, early-career authors, authors of color, queer authors, authors who you love to see on panels)
  • Behind the Scenes: Help coordinate events — reaching out to authors, arranging dates, coming up with groupings or themes, and more!
  • Street Team: Post flyers for upcoming events around Boston neighborhoods.
  • Publicity and Promo: Your Esteemed Founder is not a natural publicist. Are you? This could be live-tweeting, keeping up with Facebook and Twitter, taking great photos at the event, or other things I haven’t even considered!
  • Guest Host: Do you have experience moderating panels, emceeing, conducting interviews? Let’s talk.
  • Accessibility: Help us create transcripts of our recordings, and let us know how else we can make events more welcoming.
  • Other: Do you have ideas beyond these? We love ideas.
